At the heart of Ohiopyle State Park is Ohiopyle Falls. Seperating the Lower and Middle Yough, Ohiopyle Falls is a 20 foot tall waterfall across the width of the Youghiogheny River.

Ohiopyle Falls is located right beside the main parking area for Ohiopyle State Park. There are numerous viewing platforms so you can appreciate the full beauty of the falls. In addition to the Viewing Platforms, there is a hiking trail on the far side of the river that goes right up to the edge of the falls. This trail can be reached from the main Bike Trail Parking area near the Rail Road Crossing.
