After parking in the Cucumber Falls parking lot, you ascend down into the gorge created by the flow of water. There are steps and handrails the entire way down, making your journey easy. The entire trail is about 100 yards in length. After arriving at the base of Cucumber Falls you are free to explore the entire area, including going behind the waterfall. If you follow the creek, it will lead you to the Youghiogheny River. At that point, you will be standing above Cucumber Rapid, the second rapid of the day on White Water Adventurer's Guided Lower Yough Rafting Trip.
